Sea of Hope Ministries is a non-profit ministry whose notion is to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ through His message of HOPE in a way that it turns the secular into believers, believers into disciples, and disciples into sensible and fruitful leaders. Those leaders will, in turn, go into the world to plant the seed of Christ into the hearts of others. 


Our mission is to be a ministry that nurtures the truth in that every person can have an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ that leads to eternal living now so that God's will and ways are carried out in everyday lives, communities, and the world.


DISCIPLESHIP

We believe and and follow the Great Commission in Matthew 28:16-20, where Jesus  commands us to go and make disciples of all nations. This calling gives believers the authority and responsibility to share the Gospel, teach the Word of God, and lead others into a growing relationship with Christ. Discipleship begins with grounding people in scripture-teaching them how to read, study, and understand God's Word so they can live out their faith, reflect Christ's character, and share His love with others. Through intentional teaching, mentorship, prayer, worship, and community, we are committed to raising up disciple-makers who will continue to advance the Kingdom of God in every nation and culture. 

ENCOURAGE

Encouragement is one of the most powerful "fertilizers" that helps the seed of Jesus Christ grow strong within a believer's heart, strengthening faith and nurturing spiritual maturity. It is not optional, but a vital part of the Christian walk, as we are continually called throughout Scripture to encourage one another in love and truth. Through encouragement, we remind each other that God loves us deeply, equips us for every good work, and calls us his treasured possession. It helps believers stand firm in difficult seasons, knowing that their struggles are not in vain but are being used by God for purpose and growth. As we speak life, truth, and hope into one another, we help cultivate a faith that is resilient, rooted in Christ, and ready to bear lasting fruit.  

EMPOWERment THROUGH Testimony

"I've attended the Sea of Hope Bible Church since 2023, and that is when I decided to change my life spiritually. My journey began with Bible study every Wednesday, and that is where I learned to read. I was a bit nervous and shy at first, because no one knew that I couldn't read properly. Bible study began, and it was my turn to read, and no one judged me. Instead, they helped me. This boosted my confidence. I felt welcomed. This feeling began on a day of service when Pastor Beckum gave his testimony about how he could not read, and I felt like I was not alone."
